The Protector
Inspired by the ancient inscriptions of the Saint Benedict medal, the ring of the Protector carries the language of protection, discipline, and resistance.
Around the seal are two Latin phrases: Crux Sacra Sit Mihi Lux — “May the Holy Cross be my light,” and Non Draco Sit Mihi Dux — “Let not the dragon be my guide.” Together, they speak of choosing clarity over temptation, conviction over weakness, and light over darkness.
This ring is not only a medieval-inspired symbol. It is a reminder to move with restraint, protect your inner ground, and refuse to be led by forces that do not serve you.
Saint Benedict lived by discipline, humility, and unwavering faith. But his strength also made him enemies.
One story tells of monks who opposed his strict rule and tried to poison his wine. When the cup was brought before him, Benedict calmly made the sign of the cross over it. In that moment, the cup shattered, revealing the hidden betrayal before the poison could touch him. Another story tells of a poisoned loaf sent by a jealous priest. Benedict knew the bread carried death, so he commanded a raven that often visited him to take it away. The bird carried the loaf far from the monastery, removing the danger from those around him.
Through these events, Saint Benedict became a symbol of protection, discipline, and resistance.
Every detail is intentional. From sculpted relief to refined finishing, this ring is built to be lived in and remembered.
